Hi, I’m Jazmin Jensen Russell.

I am a program manager and curriculum developer with a Bachelor of Science from the College of Education & Human Development at Texas A&M University.​

 

Beginning my career as a classroom teacher and cheer coach, I learned that I am extremely resourceful, perform well under pressure, and have the ability to create curriculum that is engaging and relevant for the end user. 

 

While changing my career path, I became certified in UX Design, which taught me to develop vital skills such as truly understanding my audience, organizing content in an intuitive and user-friendly way, and collecting data to determine whether the goal was met or if another approach may be necessary.

 

I spent a year developing my passion project for Whiz Biz Kids, where I became one of the Managing Partners. Whiz Biz Kids offers a project-based entrepreneurial curriculum that is entirely student centered for elementary and middle schools in the United States and Latin America. Managing Whiz Biz Kids fulfills my passion of providing kids with the tools they need to become financially independent and gain the confidence to accomplish whatever they choose in life!

 

Upon entering the Tech Industry, I discovered my love of building cross-functional relationships and accomplishing goals as a team. As a natural organizer, I seek out ways to improve processes and create structure for a more efficient work flow that benefits my entire team. I utilize an agile approach to managing projects and believe collaboration with multiple iterations generates the best possible outcome.

 

My journey has led me to Program Management, where I truly feel I meant to be. I genuinely love making connections with people, developing efficient processes, supporting those around me, and owning any challenge that is presented to me. Being a lifelong learner, I know my journey will not end here, I have so much more to experience and accomplish in life!
